Why is regular servicing important?

Regular servicing is important to maintain performance, safety and longevity. It helps prevent minor issues turning into large costly repair bills, it also helps to keep your vehicle safe for both you, the people in your vehicle and others on the road. regular maintenance helps reduce risk of breakdowns, accidents and help increase fuel efficiency as well as overall performance. A full service history can also help in the resale of your vehicle and get a better value when potential buyers know the vehicle has been cared for.

Safety
  • Prevents Accidents: regular servicing allows technicians to indentify and fix issues with critical safety systems, like brakes, suspension and tyres before they would fail leading to serious accidents
Performance & Reliabilty
  • Smooth Operation: Routine services ensure that vital parts like the engine, transmission, and other systems are functioning as intended
  • Reduces Breakdowns: Maintenance addresses potential issues before they escalate into major mechanical failures, preventing inconvenient breakdowns and costly emergency repairs
Longevity & Value
  • Extends Vehicle Lifespan: Proper care prevents premature wear and tear on components, allowing your car to operate effectively for many more years
  • Boosts Resale Value: A full service history shows that the car has been well maintained, significantly increasing its value when you decide to sell or trade it in
Saves Money
  • Saves Money: While there is an ongoing cost to maintenance, the price is far lower than the expensive repairs that can result from neglecting your car.

This image shows the result of neglate and inproper maintanence. This particualr vehicle hadn't been serviced in 3 years and when the customer brought the vehiucle to us, it was because of lose of power, upon investigation we found that the oil feed pipe to the turbos had been blocked resulting in the turbos fsiling and losing power, luckily when we drained the engine there was no sign of metal in the oil and therefore no firther damaged to the engine, however we have seen other cases where the engine has hd further damage as a result of lack of proper servicing which has resulted in a new engine or the car being scraped.
